Primarily offering Barre Fitness classes, where you get the best of ALL worlds in one class! So what is it? A mix of ballet-inspired exercises, Pilates, Yoga, low impact cardio, and strength training, Barre is a high intensity full body workout that utilizes a ballet barre and other props set to high energy music. Barre is not a dance class, but you’ll exercise to the beat of the music (and probably feel like a badass ballerina at some points), which makes this class not only effective but fun, too!


Classes consist of both standing sections and mat work, targeting one muscle group at a time. With its unique isometric movements, Barre will target deep muscles in a way you’ve never felt before! Barre will help you build whole body strength, flexibility, and endurance, but most of all leave you feeling inspired and accomplished.

Owner, Barre & Pilates Instructor

Michelle is a 3x certified Barre instructor, certified Mat Pilates instructor, and Barre Fitness Alliance approved instructor with training in the 'Original' Lotte Berk barre method and pre/postnatal training. She is a former dancer, dance instructor, and studio owner with over 15 years of experience teaching barre, dance, and fitness.


Michelle was born and raised in Carman, Manitoba, Canada where she also owned her successful dance and barre studios. A life long dancer in jazz, tap, and ballet, Michelle started teaching dance in high school. After moving back to her hometown after college she recognized the need for a dance studio in the small town and followed her dream of opening her first business, Kiddance, at the age of 24. This eventually led her to discovering Barre Fitness and adding her sister company, 'The Carman Barre', the first and only Barre studio in the Pembina Valley, Manitoba. Michelle had the pleasure of introducing hundreds of people to Barre fitness and truly found her calling. In 2019, she moved  to California to live with her husband and golden retrievers.


After relocating to the desert and teaching Barre online during the pandemic, Michelle founded FIT BACH in 2022. The pull of opening her own studio again could not be ignored, and now she is excited to bring her passion of Barre to Cathedral City and grow the same small-town feel community she cultivated back home.

Pilates, PSM, & Dance Cardio Instructor

Ren is an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition and Wellness Coach. She grew up dancing ballet, modern, and jazz, but her passion for dance broadened after taking samba, hip hop, and Horton classes at Alvin Ailey in NYC. Ren has taught at non-profit organizations, schools, private studios, and led a weekly Dance Cardio class at Equinox Miracle Mile (LA). Since getting her Pilates Mat certification through Equinox in 2019, Ren has incorporated Pilates principles into her 1:1 sessions and group fitness classes to diversify clients’ fitness programs and help them gain core strength, mobility, and fluidity of movement. Last year she added the Pilates Suspension Method (PSM) certification because she loved the inclusivity and accessibility that PSM offers.


Ren has over 7 years of fitness and nutrition coaching and holds various certifications, including ISSA Personal Training, ISSA Running, GGS Pre and Post Natal Coaching, Equinox Pilates Mat, Kettlebell L1, Pilates Suspension Method, Animal Flow, and Precision Nutrition. She lives in Coachella Valley with her husband, baby daughter, and two cats - Mambo & Samba. She trains 1:1, teaches group fitness classes, and loves helping people achieve their fitness goals and feel their best.


Yoga Instructor

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Sigi began taking yoga classes at the age of 16 at Yogaworks South Bay. After spending 8 years in New York City where she attended NYU Stern and practiced at Yoga to the People, she moved to Palm Springs in 2020 and completed her 200-hr YTT at Power Yoga Palm Springs. She is also a qualified Rocket® Yoga instructor and Sound Bath Practitioner.


From a young age, Sigi immersed herself in the world of gymnastics and dance. She found herself yearning for a deeper connection of mind, body, and spirit. It was during this search that she found the practice of yoga. Sigi's decision to embark on the journey of teaching yoga was deeply rooted in her personal experience and the transformative power that yoga had on her own life. She strives to share this practice with others and continue to learn and grow in the process.

Yoga, Barre, Pilates Instructor

DJ is a certified Fitness Trainer and Yoga Teacher. Her Yoga studies began in Ireland, 1993. She later became certified at Bhava Yoga Center in New York's 'Alphabet City', 2002. DJ expanded her practice and taught WheelChair Yoga programs in the nursing community for fifteen years, creating a teacher training program for caregivers, and activities professionals in healthcare.

Now DJ rides dirt bikes and is a student of the Japanese martial art, Aikido. A teacher of everything from Dance, Pilates, and Yoga at Mission Hills for 6 years, she added her personal training certification in 2023.


A couple of family friends introduced me to Sol Barre with Michelle, 3 months later and I am still OBSESSED!! Michelle is an amazing instructor, she targets arms, legs, abs, buttocks, the works! She keeps things lively and upbeat, and ends every workout with a few calm peaceful minutes of well deserved stretching. I always feel great after every class, not only has it been beneficial for my body but also my mind. It's one of my happy places for sure!
